Position Description

As an eCommerce Clerk II – eBay, you are responsible for researching antique and collectible items that are received as donations to determine the estimated value and essential details. You will work with the eCommerce Manager to assess the best items for on-line sales. A key task in this role will be photographing an item and writing clear and detailed listings for eBay auctions.

Responsibilities
• Researches antique and collectible items to determine estimated value
• Photographs items and writes listings for online sale
• Maintains production guidelines set by management
• Catalogs and maintains accurate inventory of items that have been entered into the system
• Verifies proper item sold and check quality once again
• Coordinates and stages sold/packaged items for shipment
• Performs customer service emails with potential buyers and existing buyers
• Prepares morning and evening paperwork
• Orders supplies
• Trains temporary workers and/or community service workers
• Conducts Ecommerce warehouse audits

Must Haves
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in an online store preferred
• Needs to exhibit advanced computer skills and familiarity with the Internet
• Candidates with experience and knowledge of eBay operations and listings will be given preference
• Experience with antiques, collectibles, and vintage books preferred
• Must possess strong written communication abilities – grammar, spelling, and descriptive skills
• Must have good attention to detail, be able to work quickly without sacrificing quality, and self-motivated to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds
• Potential hazards exist regarding machinery such as forklifts, pallets jacks, conveyors, and other mechanized systems.
• Noise levels in all areas are within acceptable ranges.
• Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment temperatures 0 – 100 F
• The position involves repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift, including standing and walking and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting
• Safety equipment, gloves, closed toed shoes are required
