How will you impact our mission? Every position at Idaho Youth Ranch contributes to the success of our mission. As a Therapist, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by conducting diagnostic assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing individual, family, and group counseling to clients. In this role, you will conduct therapy sessions in an office setting as well as equine therapy facilitated at the Mica Stables.

Must Haves:
• Master’s degree in a human services field: social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• Idaho State Licensure to accompany the degree or be able to acquire one within 30 days of hire
• Obtain when offered specialized training related to position, such as: CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, TF-CBT, EMDR, DBT, and CANS
• Passion for working with youth and families

Our Therapists:
• Responsible to provide direct services to clients on assigned caseload (i.e. assessments, counseling, planning, home visits, etc.)
• Shows commitment by preparing individualized Service Plans, performing updates, logging notes, and other documentation as outlined
• Formulates and implements treatment strategies for each client
• Shows compassion by advocating for and supports with all program/site employees’ adherence to the identified program model
• Supports growth by formulating and participating in the development and implementation of reintegration plans for each client and client-family
